Best take away chinese !

What Chinese takeaway doesn’t do chips? Very odd decision to stop doing them, could be a costly one! I don’t think I was the first to walk out after being told that they do them any more! Shame!

Bought a large portion of chips. Definitely recieved a small portion as it didn't even stretch to 2 people. It used to be a traditional chippy, not anymore. It's almost as if it's an inconvenience if your order chips! Very disappointed.

Such a shame. Been coming here for years but it’s certainly not as good as it used to be . Their large portion of chips used to be large! Not anymore. The last few times I’ve had portions filled with manky chips. Not just a few but lots. Never used to be like this. Wish I could go back to the old days!

I think they boiled the chips in oil. Absolutely gross, like wringing out a wet dishcloth. Totally unedable Done with this place. Too many bad day's

2 years ago i gave this 4 stars. Tonight i ordered a mushroom chow mein which contained a grand total of 2 mushrooms. And rather a lot of raw onion. And the chips had been cooked in old oil. Very unpleasant

This is a nice Chinese takeaway and fish and chip shop...if you get the right person to answer the phone you'll have a good experience when calling an order in...or you will get MR ANGRY who will make you feel you have inconvenienced him and he's a little SHOUTEY and hangs the phone up with conviction... if you can see past this then the food is good.

Fantastic place ordered cod and chips which was all cooked fresh as we waited and not very long. Still lovely and hot when home and so tasty WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've been here quite a few times and the fish is usually quite nice but the chips vary quite a bit in quality. Went there around 9pm Sat and the chips were awful, like they'd been laying around for hours, had to throw them away. I mean how hard is it to fry some more, we even phoned ahead.

Struggled to rate higher..McDonald's is half a mile down the road and should have chosen that. Came here half hour before closing wanted two chips and battered sausages. ..customers seemed to be more of a hinderence. They say support local businesses why bother. Unfriendly told we could only have one portion of chips. Gave two stars as it was hot food so one positive.
