The most wonderful wedding day imaginable! My wife and I chose The Lion House after meeting there and having our first date at The Lion Inn and it only seemed fitting that our special day was held there. Ashton and all the team were so supportive and amazing from start to finish and the venue was fantastically dressed. They provided a relaxed and beautiful venue for memorable day with our family and friends. The venue catered for lots of photo opportunities with idyllic backgrounds. Couldn't have wished for anything more, it was perfect! Thank you to the whole team involved.

We had our wedding here and every single thing was perfect. The wedding planner Megan was super organised, friendly, and had everything well planned in advance and in hand on the day. We didn’t have to think of anything and just enjoyed our day, as did our guests. The food was amazing and the service brilliant. I would happily recommend for a wedding. We are so pleased with our perfect day!!!

The Lion House is an absolutely incredible wedding venue. From our venue visit in 2021 to our wedding in 2023, we were supported and well looked after. Our coordinator Ashton was so professional, encouraging and organised. We felt like she genuinely cared about our investment towards this day and understood what we expected. This venue will forever be in our hearts as the place we said I Do. We couldn’t imagine of choosing anywhere else. Thank you everyone at the Lion Inn and Lion House Venue.

Attended the wedding fair. Some great ideas, went to restaurant and had the most wonderful lunch. Looking forward to my daughter's wedding next year at The Lion.

Went for a Sunday roast. Food was pretty awful unfortunately. The beed was overcooked, after I'd asked for medium rare. My daughter had a burger, which she let me try. Again it was too chewy and was hard to swallow. The place was packed which surprised me from the standard of food.

We were married here at the lion house in May 2023 and my goodness I could not have wished for a better wedding venue, from the day we viewed it right up until we checked out of the bridal suite the day after the wedding! The staff were so friendly and attentive not just to me and my husband but to all of our guests, id like to give a special mention to our coordinator Megan she was an absolute star. She answered emails promptly and professionally and always in a friendly way, she was always happy to see us in the build up to the wedding and on the day, nothing was too much trouble for her she was perfect! The venue itself was stunning we had the whole day there and the staff were amazing at changing the venue from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast and then to the evening whilst making sure that the whole day was flowing perfectly for us The food was out of this world and the chef was able to cater to a particular guest of mine with many many allergies. We went for the bbq buffet style breakfast and all of our guests said how amazing the food was the pork belly bites went down especially well! Also breakfast at the lion inn was delicious too. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable the bridal suite was beautiful the only thing I would suggest is maybe updating the tv to a smart tv we were buzzing after the wedding and could’ve done with some Netflix but it is such a minor detail it’s almost not worth mentioning. The venue was also very reasonably priced we had quite a strict budget and we were able to stick within that budget all in all if you are looking for a wedding venue please consider the lion house I cannot recommend it highly enough Thanks to all the staff for making it a dream wedding

The Lion House is an AMAZING venue with fantastic staff. My husband and I got married here in April 23 and we could not recommend the venue highly enough. Our wedding coordinator, Ashton was brilliant and made sure the day run smoothly. In the lead up to the wedding she checked in regularly to make sure we were okay. The rooms are lovely, especially the bridal suite. In fact, it was so nice we stayed a second night to make the most of it. All of our guests commented on how good the rooms were and they have everything you need. The food is always great at the Lion Inn so we knew that the wedding breakfast would be too, and we weren’t disappointed. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone considering getting married here.

Fantastic place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ love everything about this venue. Staff are amazing, great food, great drinks. Aircon was a winner.

Parking is easy. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived without booking. We were seated at a table for four in a comfortable separate area. Service was prompt and attentive. Menu was not too large and it was varied. Food was well presented and good. Prices were reasonable. We will return.

Excellent food - we've eaten here at least 20 times in the past 3 years - top draw restaurant for quality dining out. One minor thing let us down, our ice cream took almost twenty minutes to arrive after ordering. Considering the restaurant was very quiet (compared to when we first arrived) this really was disappointing and so untypical of the place.
